On the cover, you can print both of your names or your combined monograms, the wedding date, and/or a short poem or quote.
Another homemade wedding favor idea that you can easily make at home are candles. Candle wedding favors always have a romantic touch. If you prefer to make your own candle wedding favors, don’t worry because there’s a wide assortment of candles that you can find at your local craft store. They are usually in different colors. You can also choose from arrays of scented candles. If you want to create your own design, simply melt down the candles and mold them to the shape and size you desire. Bookmarks are also very easy to make. These are very cheap and can used by your guests long after your wedding. When making bookmark wedding favors, all you need are card stocks which are more thicker and durable than normal writing paper. You can cut them in the size or shape that you want after you have printed your names, wedding date, and etc. Punch a hole the area that you want your ribbon or string to be tied in. As easy as that, you can provide your guests simple, yet functional wedding mementos that you specially made for them.
Edible wedding favors such as cookies, chocolates, candies, almonds, and jams are also among the popular homemade wedding favors. If you are good at baking or making edible treats, then set your kitchen on fire and make your own delightful wedding favors that sure to make your guests hungry!
